EIS was set up by former national newspaper editorial executive Brian Lavery, a journalist with 25 years’ experience in all aspects of the media.

As a staff journalist he has edited two weekly papers, news edited two large regional newspapers as well as worked as a senior sub editor and chief sub editor on three national titles and one foreign title.

As a freelance he has written for all national newspapers as well as many national magazines. He has also broadcast on local radio and TV.

EIS’s current clients include, private businesses, trade press, local authorities, the Hull and East Riding Housing Renewal team Gateway Pathfinder and the former Deputy Prime Minister the Right Hon. John Prescott MP. EIS produces a range of work, from single page edits to full and complex publications. We can receive copy by e-mail, FTP, ASDL and disk. We use only top–flight writers and sub–editors for all our projects.

EIS also offers a consultancy service which helps clients deal with the media – from composing a press release to issue management, we can bring our wide experience to bear.
